Stop Dealing with Anxiety
Anxiety is like a scammer that won't leave you alone.
It offers you a deal that sounds reasonable at first: Do what I say and I'll give you peace of mind.
For example: You're worried about something not going to plan, so you take up the deal Anxiety offers you and create Plan B and your worry eases for a little while. But your peace of mind doesn't last long. Anxiety comes back with the same deal and you end up creating Plan C, Plan D, E, F, etc.
But Anxiety keeps coming back.
Before you realise it, Anxiety has stolen away your time and energy. You're exhausted and you still haven't got what you wanted.
Can you see the scam?
It's time to stop dealing with Anxiety.
Once you already have Plan B, then the next time Anxiety offers you the deal, say: No Thanks. I don't want your offer. Instead put your energy towards Plan A: the thing you wanted to do in the first place.
